The ZO® 3-Step Peel is a potent peel that is designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, acne scarring, rough texture, large pores and dullness. This peel is great for all skin types and generally promotes softer, smoother, firmer looking skin. The peel can be repeated every 3-5 weeks until desired results are achieved. The peel combines 10% TCA (trichloroacetic acid), salicylic acid, lactic acid & high-dose retinol (6%). Pre-condition with tretinoin or a 0.5% or higher retinol product for at least 4-6 weeks prior to having the peel. You will discontinue the use of these retinoids and other products that cause dryness and irritation (AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide) 5-6 days prior to the peel and can restart using them once your skin is completely healed from the peel. Peeling, including redness, mild swelling and irritation vary in intensity for each individual and can last up to 7 days. You will go home with a ZO® Hydrating Creme that you can apply 3 times/day as needed. It is very important that you follow your aftercare instructions carefully to ensure safe and effective results.
